Microsoft embarks on a new journey with the Surface Tablet, creating both the OS and hardware to establish its presence in the burgeoning tablet market. The two versions planned for release will be armed with the Windows RT and Windows 8 Pro operating systems. It will come equipped with a cover that doubles as a keyboard, as well as an inbuilt stand.
